Dongmo Tadonken Ange Roy

 

​Originally from Cameroon, Dongmo moved to the United States to reunite with his family, continue his education, and pursue greater opportunities for his future. Like many immigrants, he faced the challenges of adapting to a completely new environment — learning a new language, adjusting to a different culture and way of life, and even adapting to unfamiliar weather conditions. Rather than discouraging him, these experiences strengthened his resilience, shaped his character, and taught him the importance of perseverance and personal growth in unfamiliar environments.

Driven by strong values and a desire to build a meaningful future, Dongmo chose to serve in the U.S. Air Force, where he continues to develop discipline, leadership, and a commitment to service. Alongside his military career, he is pursuing an education in Cybersecurity, combining technical knowledge with his passion for continuous self-improvement and professional growth.

Through his journey, Dongmo hopes to inspire his siblings, nephews, friends, and others within his community by leading through example and demonstrating the power of dedication, resilience, and service. As part of American Dream Force, he is committed to encouraging and supporting immigrants who aspire to create better opportunities for themselves through education, service, and hard work while pursuing their own American dream.
