MIDLINE METAYER

Before joining the military, Midline worked traditional jobs that left her feeling unfulfilled and without a clear sense of direction or long-term purpose. Seeking something greater for her future, she chose military service  a decision that gave her purpose, discipline, hope, and a vision for the life she wanted to build.

Through her journey, Midline discovered not only personal growth but also the confidence to pursue bigger goals for herself and her community. While continuing her military service, she is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, balancing education, service, and self-development as she works toward creating a meaningful future.

As a Haitian American, Midline understands the challenges many immigrants face when navigating a new country and considering military service. She knows the process can feel intimidating and uncertain, especially for those without guidance or support. That experience inspired her passion for helping others who dream of serving but may feel discouraged or overwhelmed along the way.

Through American Dream Force, Midline hopes to become a mentor and role model for Haitian immigrants and future service members by offering encouragement, honest guidance, and motivation. She strongly believes that success requires patience, discipline, perseverance, and faith in yourself, especially during difficult moments.

​

One lesson she always shares with others is the importance of never forgetting your “why.” For Midline, the reason behind your journey is what gives you strength when challenges arise and motivates you to keep moving forward.

More than anything, she hopes to inspire others to believe in their potential, remain committed to their goals, and work toward building a stronger future for themselves and the next generation.
