A1C Jang
Sehyun Jang is originally from South Korea and is currently a member of the U.S. Air National Guard as well as a proud member of American Dream Force. She is fluent in Korean and English.
Originally from South Korea, Sehyun moved to the United States at the age of twenty with a strong desire to challenge herself, grow beyond her comfort zone, and build a meaningful future. Like many immigrants, she faced the difficulties of adapting to a new language, culture, and way of life. Those experiences shaped her resilience and inspired her passion for helping others navigate similar journeys.
As she explored her future career path, Sehyun realized she wanted to dedicate her life to caring for others and making a positive impact in her community. This passion led her to pursue nursing. During that journey, she discovered the educational opportunities, personal growth, and sense of purpose that military service could provide, ultimately leading her to join the U.S. Air National Guard.
Through her service, Sehyun has embraced the values of discipline, teamwork, integrity, and service before self. Although she lives far from her family, the Air National Guard has given her a strong sense of belonging and a supportive community that feels like a second family.
As part of American Dream Force, Sehyun is passionate about supporting Koreans who aspire to serve the United States through military service. She is committed to sharing reliable guidance, encouraging others with confidence, and helping future service members take the first steps toward achieving their goals and building their own American dream.
